A little bit about me.

fernando-headshot

I studied Communication Design with a focus on Web Design. During my time in college I learned about design theory, composition, aesthetics, typography, animation, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

A few years ago, I came across a book called Mobile First by Luke Wroblewski. In this book he writes about designing around technical constraints and the needs of mobile users. This sparked my interest in learning about User Centered Design, eventually leading me to pursue a career as a User Experience Designer.

Beyond pretty pixels and animations.

The key to a successful product is understanding your users. As a UX practitioner, I strive to create intuitive user interactions based on research, prototyping, user testing, and reiterations.
